Standardised plant systems
The EUCO® has been undergoing constant further development since the company was founded and has been optimised for the fermentation of renewable raw materials. With the EUCO® Titan, Schmack Biogas offers a standardised and proven plant system which can also be operated using a dry fermentation process and which, as a result, attracts a payment of 2 cents/kWhel.
The advantages for you:
- A progressive reduction in costs thanks to standardised essential plant components.
- No additional mixing water is required. As a result, there is also a reduction in the amount of fermentation residue which leads to a reduction in the removal quantity and thus in removal costs.
- Minimal plant energy requirement thanks to efficient drive technology from 2.2 kW.
- Forced mixing through a slow-running, horizontal stirring mechanism in an extremely robust design with fan-type agitator blades.
- The nature of the design avoids floating and sinking layers.
- A central, heated stirrer shaft ensures efficient heat distribution -> necessary for a stable biological process.
- Owing to its reduced volume (400 - 800m³) less heat must be fed to the fermenter -> more heat is available for external sale.
- The substrate is pumped in a warm and homogenised state into the second-stage fermenter in order that gas is obtained without temperature fluctuations there too.
- Compared to round fermenters, small volumes from 400 m³ allow countermeasures to be taken very quickly (in the event of acidification, incorrect feeding etc.) in order to stabilise the process.
- Professional, sensory monitoring: apart from filling-level and temperature measurement, the first gas measurement is taken directly after release from the Euco.
- Standardised technology allows short reaction times during service work.
