Special feeding technology for biogas plants
The bacteria in the biogas plants are supposed to deliver maximum output around the clock. To do this, they require optimum living conditions in the fermentation containers. As well as ensuring a balanced feeding schedule and consistent biological monitoring of the fermentation process, it is vitally important to ensure that the micro-organisms are fed in a consistent, energy-efficient manner. With PASCO, Schmack Biogas offers a robust metering technology which has been tried and tested and satisfies the requirements for professional plant operation.
Enabling optimum living conditions means
- paying attention to the length of chaff during harvesting
- only using high-quality silage
- coordinating the feeding intervals for the micro-organisms in such a way that they are not left with too little food or too much food for digestion
- adapting feed changeovers in a targeted way and in good time
- continuous monitoring of all the key variables which are relevant to the biological process
- providing the technical foundations for stable operation, e.g. reliable stirring technology, consistent supply of heat and sensors for monitoring filling levels, temperatures and gas quality
The special PASCO feeding technology features an electronic weighing device as standard which, in conjunction with the BIOWATCH® plant control system, ensures uniform feeding of the micro-organisms. Thanks to the automation, you can achieve both constant feeding of the bacteria and therefore steady gas production as well as making it considerably easier to run the plant during regulated operation.
