Are you looking for a suitable site or for feedstock? We take care of all aspects of project development:

• Site search: We find suitable sites or develop your plant site including its infrastructure.
• Site assessment: Do you have one or more sites with potential heat use? We investigate feasibility.
• Feedstock: We plan and organise optimum plant utilisation by purchasing suitable feedstock including transportation to your biogas plant.
• Plant operation: We provide a complete commercial plant-operating service

• Preliminary planning: We request land-register plans and make the initial contact with authorities. We incorporate the plant into an initial design in the form of drawings, level the construction site and clarify the process responsibilities and construction-law requirements with the authorities.
• Approval planning: We produce the documents required for the approval process such as the specification, application plans, emissions plans, explosion-protection plans etc. (approx. 250 m² of paper)
• Contact with authorities: We support and speed up the approval process by making early and regular contact with the authorities.
• Feedstock: We plan and organise optimum plant utilisation.
• Implementation planning: Drawings of the plant with all individual details required for implementation such as construction details, installation plans, earth-excavation plans, pipeline plans etc.

• Project management: A Schmack project manager oversees the entire construction of the plant including the construction schedule.
• Installation work: Schmack carries out the installation work for your biogas plant using its own construction workers and a permanent on-site construction manager
• Electrical work: Schmack carries out both electrical planning work and the programming of the control system (SPS) using its own workers
• Connection to existing infrastructure: We connect existing structures for example and connect the plant to the electricity network
• Construction approval: Following the test operation, we approve all plant construction components together with the ordering party

• On-site support: Familiarisation and training for your biogas plant is provided by an individual contact person; assistance during the first filling, the controlled heating phase and when inoculating the fermenters
• Planning the start-up and commissioning phase: Individual feed planning; laboratory analyses for monitoring the fermentation process; technical and biological support
• Plant control and adjustment: All integrated components are adjusted to the day-to-day operation and optimised
• Documentation: Comprehensive, categorised documentation is produced
• Proof of performance: You pay the final instalment only when satisfactory performance has been achieved!

• Repairs, individual inspection and maintenance: According to requirements and needs
• Fault elimination: A Germany-wide service network as well as a 24-hour emergency number guarantee rapid reaction times and quick and uncomplicated countermeasures
• Equipment hire: E.g. rod mixer, gas-analysis device
• Motor oils and motor-oil analysis: For the sound operation of your cogeneration system

• Feedstock analysis: Fermentation tests; nutrient and harmful-substance assessment
• Process analysis: We determine the monitoring parameters in order to stabilise and optimise processes: fatty-acid determination using the patented method of gas chromatography, pH value, dry substance content/organic dry substance content, inhibitors etc.
• Fermentation residue analysis: Harmful-substance and nutrient analysis

• Biogas financing: Arranging of own and outside capital for individual plants
• Biogas contracting: You supply and operate – we finance! An investment volume of 19 million € has already been achieved
